“What is reality made of? What is a human being?” Two questions that former college professor Jeff Grupp posses to listeners and fans and seeks to answer with his amazing works.

Jeff Grupp formerly taught philosophy, specifically: eastern philosophy, ethics, metaphysics, and Buddhism. After academia couldn’t handle what he had to really share, Jeff continues to educate the world in a much large scale through his radio show. Antimatter Radio airs every weekday at 11 am.  To add to his long list of accomplishments he has also written two books Corporatism: The Secret Government of the New World Order and Telementation: Cosmic Feeling and the Law of Attraction.

Close Encounters of the Biblical Kind, The Bible and the Paranormal, America Incorporated,  Foleygate – The Matrix in Action, these are just a few of the many fascinating, thought provoking and incredibly well researched articles by autonomous theologian, author, and radio show host Patrick Cooke.

Patrick Cooke’s main work, The Bible UFO Connection, is the most extensive database on UFO research, and the wide range of topics that go right along with it on the internet.  To add to his long list of accomplishments, Patrick has also been a consultant to the History Channel Production, “UFOs in the Bible.”

Part of the  Oracle Research Institute in Berkeley, California, the Institute is dedicated to present researching into the origin, purpose, history and destiny of mankind. I’m terribly excited to have Patrick on Paranormal 101 this Saturday evening (27^th) to cover some of the topics he’s such an expert in. A brief update for everyone.  If you’re currently trying to snag a copy of Synarchy you’ll see on Amazon’s page that it’s not available. No worries, I’m updating the back cover copy with a few fabulous reviews we’ve gotten. I anticipate this will only take about 7 – 10 days or so, so if you’re itching to get your hands on Synarchy Book 1, just be patient.

I have also lowered the list price. You will now be able to purchase a copy of Synarchy for only $9.99. How’s about that?

Lastly, if you’re an eBook kind of techno-savvy person you’ll be pleased to note that Synarchy will be available on Amazon’s Kindle as soon as they’re done approving file format and things like that. I anticipate that will only take a day or two, and again I’ll update everyone once it goes live.

When’s Book 2 coming out? Soon! By the spring you’ll have your rightfully greedy hands on it. My editor has told me, “Book 1 smacked up you upside the back of the head. Book 2, punches you in the gut.” I think that’s fitting and I’m so proud of it you just have no idea. I’m hella excited to get out to you all, but gotta follow procedures. The post title is what I said to a friend of mine when they inquired about my interesting last few days.  It pretty much sums it up.

Over the last seventy two hours I have had a fantastic lightworker lesson. A very practical one too.  It will take more practice to master, but my adjustment to the situation was pretty damn cool in retrospect, and where it leaves me sitting now.  It is quite interesting to me to note, that as I was reading one of my astrology reports for the energy of the month, it said, “this month will not present new challenges, but it will present new perspectives on old challenges.” So far, that’s about right.

I was ill with a lingering stomach bug a few days ago.  It was on that day that I allowed two very important people in my life to penetrate my bubble. I joined them in a place I didn’t want to be. Sometimes you get sucked into the drama.

One close person was sitting on the wagon of insecurity. Their insecurity was rubbing me the wrong way. I couldn’t understand it.  Where it was coming, why it was there, why things I was saying were being taken so out of context. I allowed it to anger me. A lot. I’m usually a very patient person. Not so much when I’m feeling ill.  I had no tolerance for these issues, they just annoyed me. Of course I vented. While venting to another close person in my life the conversation turned to them, and their subsquent issues.  An argument arose. This one turned into a shouting match. Myself and this person have been known to do this when we get heated with each other.  At this point, were only half listening to what the other was saying, too determined to hammer our valid point into the brain of the other, and make them understand. Finally we curtly hung up. We also tend to make up quick, we don’t like being mad at each other. Frustrated, insane, ready to choke the other one until they get it, or have a near death experience and come back centered, but we can’t stay mad. It’s just not right. But the make up text messages (yes, text messages) only served to annoy me further. To the point that I went and vented to another friend and said something along the lines of, “and I’ve had it with so and so too. I’m done with it. If they really feel that way, fine, they can step the fuck up out of my bubble too.”

Yeah, one of those days.

Even after I said this, and subsquently made my stomach hurt worse by choosing to stay locked in my head, having mind arguments with these people and spending half the day pissed off, I knew that wasn’t going to happen either. Not so much because I couldn’t tell either of those people to do just that, and continue on my non-merry way, but because a little nagging voice inside of me said that wasn’t the path to take in this situation. I was missing a point, a lesson.

One that didn’t come until the next day.  It started when the first person I was angry at the day before, I allowed to piss of me off again.  This time though after the first few minutes of being angry I decided I wasn’t going to spend today like I did yesterday. The first thing I did was pray. Yes I did. I’m sitting in my office, staring at my phone in all my justified fury, and I clasp my hands together and I said, “spirit guides, please give me a little hand here. Help me to handle this situation in a more positive way.” Or something like that. A few moments later, I remembered something I had read in a fabulous book called the Translucent Revolution about emotions. Itw as a section about just having them, and releasing our stories attached to them.  Not bottling up our anger, or passing judgement on it. But not directing it at someone either. Simply having it. Just be angry. So I decided I was going to do that. I’ve done that before. I think I’ve written some really fabulous fight scenes playing in that emotion. I can attest to the fact that when we stop directing our anger at other people, and release the story attached to it, anger suddenly becomes fun. Yesterday I didn’t have anything to write. But I did have a PS3 and Ninja Gaiden 2. So I picked up the remote and went to town. I don’t think I’ve ever played the game so well, or had so much fun. (Do you know how long your combos go with the vigorian flails?? Oh em gee.)

Anywho after about forty-five mintues or so I was better. I was much better. I wasn’t angry anymore. In fact I was in a really good mood. Thank you spirit guides for having my back. Thank you higher self for showing me the way. And thank you to me, for being open to the message.

I went on to have a great conversation with the first person who I had allowed into my bubble. The conversation could have been very different and not nearly as productive if I had approached it in anger, instead of from my heart. I was a lot more willing to listen, to try to understand a different perspective even if I didn’t agree with it, the other persons feelings. I haven’t kicked the second person out of my bubble either how could I? I’ve chosen to my annoyingly positive, practical spiritual informative lightworker self instead. I think its much more effective.

To quote Astrologer Stephanie Azaria, “Too many of us tend to go right into the belief that when an old thought pattern comes up, it means we are stuck in it again, doomed to go around one more time. This could not be further from the truth, unless we insisted it is. It is far more advantageous and empowering to realize that whenever we get to that point on the wheel where we about to go around again we have the choice to choose to get OFF the wheel instead.”

The power is within, we are not limited by anything but the boundaries we make. If you identify a pattern you keep repeating and you don’t like it, choose to get off the circle of suck! That’s it. No excuse. Just get off. As difficult as the first step is, eventually it will be easy. Nothing to it. Piece of cake. But you’ve got to take the first step. Make the change. However small, just make it.

I’m excited by my stepping off the wheel moment yesterday, so excited I had to share. Woot.

I’m reading this fabulous book called Ascension Magick. Don’t laugh.  It’s what you think and it isn’t.  I’d highly recommend the book, especially to someone who just wants to know what the hell all the “new agers” are talking about.  I’ve mentioned the term Ascension on here a few times in conjunct with 2012, and what I believe to be a fabulous shift in consciousness taking hold of the planet right now.  Author Christopher Penczak has done a beautiful job defining it, which I will share with you below:

“Ascension is a magickal paradigm for enlightenment that draws on the world’s ancient wisdom.  Through your thoughts, words, and deeds, you create your reality and determine the world in which you live.  Magick is the process of continually recreating your reality to manifest your true divine will.”

Sounds simple doesn’t? Maybe a little hooky you say. However, there is nothing new about the new age, or about Ascension.  To steal another well defined term from Penczak, “the new age is really about the old age, taking ancient spiritual principles and making them accessible to the modern world. It is a return to our forgotten roots.”

What I really enjoyed in the first part of the book was the cliff notes on ancient cultures and just how far back the belief in what is becoming mainstream now goes.  Most things start in Egypt and Sumer and a lot of the magickal traditions are no exception.  But they don’t stop there, they pan the entire ancient world from Greece, to Rome, to Persia.  We find hints of it in Judaism, lots of it when you really understand the story of Jesus of Nazareth.  From Hinduism right on over to Alchemy, not the quest for the philosophers stone, but much earlier when the change of inner consciousness was explored in the laboratory. Alchemists were capable of those magickal feats in the laboratory because of their spiritual qualities, not the formula.  We find evidence of this today in Quantum Physics which is teaching us that the observer can and does affect the outcome of the experiment.

This post isn’t just about merging our past with our future.  It’s about merging.  Our science and our spirituality is slowly become inexorably linked.  We are evolving our thinking. We are moving away from the neat laws of Newtonian Physics, the crappy kill or be killed theories of natural selection, and into a different paradigm that is absolutely amazing and mind bending in its implications.

I did a whole radio show on how science and mysticism are merging and I’m going to briefly share some of that information with you here.  We acensionist, spiritualists, whatever you want to call us spend a lot of time talking about thought and intention. But what the hell are either really? Lynn McTaggart is delving into that topic and what she is finding about the power of both is amazing.

All living things, all of them not just you and me but everything that is alive, is leaking information out all the time and getting information back in.  You’re under the impression that your thoughts are contained in your head, going nowhere.  That is not the case.  You head is a leaky bucket and nothing is private. This leaking of thoughts can be measured, they are small currents of light and information that science has a name for called Bio Photon Emissions.

Fascinating no? I’d invite you all to head on over to her site and actually participate in a few of her Intention Experiments.  Now that we know thoughts are leaking out in the world, what can do with them when we concentrate them on a specific thing?  Through a group  of people just like me and you focusing their intention McTaggart has changed the mineral quality of tap water, made food grow faster, healed a Vietnam vet of his pain, and evidence is indicating lowered the crime rate in Sri Lanka.

So many times we hear these things and we go “wow that’s interesting” and keep going, never stopping to pause and think about how what we just heard can affect our very being.  We’ve got to remember. NOW is the time to remember.  The little changes we make within ourselves have a global impact.  I cannot hammer this point in enough.  GLOBAL IMPACT. YOU DO.  Yes, you.

If focused intention can change the mineral quality of water, we can heal polluted oceans. WITH OUR MINDS.  Opening my heart to love and focusing it on one place can STOP VIOLENCE.  HEAL PEOPLE.  The smallest change within has such a huge ripple to our world. It is through remembering these sciences, discovering  this “magic” all over again, that we can, and we will usher in what the hippies have been waiting for, The Age of Aquarius.

Let’s talk about mother earth. No I’m not talking about going green.  I’m talking about retuning ourselves so we hear her again. You heard me, right.  So many of us believe that one day mother nature is going to get tired of us and flick us off of her like a booger.  That these erratic weathers are some sort of punishment.  Well guess what, you live on a planet and sometimes it has hiccups.  As we evolve and adjust our energy so does she, and when she does this, she lets us know.  I’m not talking about the weather channel, I’m talking studies being done by The Global Coherence Initiative that are finding we and earths electromagnetic field are linked up. Our brainwaves can synchronize with the rhythm of these waves, so when people say they “feel” an impending earthquake or other weather patterns change, they are reacting to the actual signals sent out by mother nature herself.

If we went back to being that in tune with the very planet we call home, who needs the weather man? How many lives in Haiti could have been spared? Again, the smallest changes within us have a HUGE GLOBAL IMPACT.

So what, no really, what are you waiting for? The time is now. Heaven on earth won’t create itself.  We’ve got to do it. What else do you think you’re here for?
