FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Author of the Best Book Awards Finalist, Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, DCS, takes a time out with marketing and publicity expert Don McCauley.
Sci-Fi Thriller Author of Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, a novel that fans are hailing as the “Godfather meets Stargate”, DCS, gets a segment on The Authors Show Radio. In it she gives readers an inside look at her work, the writing process, and where the series will go next.
[November 2009, New Orleans] Author DCS has recently released Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, a cutting edge novel that combines 2012, conspiracy theory, the metaphysical, The Godfather and Stargate in a manner that may set a new standard for artists who hope to create entirely new genres. And she’s getting some media attention. On November 6th, 2009, the wildly popular The Authors Show Radio will air an interview with author DCS, given by well known marketing and publicity expert, Don MacCauley.
The interview which will run all day, will give readers an insight into an authors writing process, and provide an inside look at what DCS hopes to accomplish with the books that will follow. Synarchy Book 1 addresses the question so many are asking as to whether the world will end just three years from now, while also tackling the more important question – “Do we really want to know?”
“With all the controversy and misinformation surrounding 2012, I believe that it’s time a novel came out that puts a different spin on things,” said author DCS. “Synarchy leaves us looking at the world and its upcoming future with a different set of eyes. It is the only book that weaves together conspiracy theories, the metaphysical and the 2012 phenomena into a thrill ride of a story.”
DCS has appeared on Freedom Fighter Radio, and will also appear for a live interview November 17th on Artist and Ascension radio from 5 to 6:30 PM EST. Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening is available at Amazon.com and at the author’s website. DCS is available for interview and can be reached using the information below.

She spent time in the corporate world in records management, and briefly considered the possibility of making a living converting corporate paper into searchable tiffs. She then realized that the telling of well researched stories was her first, true love. Synarchy is her first novel and was named a finalist in the 2008 Best Book Awards sponsored by USA Book News. Five more novels are scheduled for release, with the second Synarchy Book 2: The Ascension due out December 21st, 2009.

Tuesday
When I finally sit down to write these blog posts my head is usually a flurry of information I want to give to you. My email box is full of newsletters, blog links, all kinds of the “out there” stuff I like to talk about it and it’s difficult to discern what I should be rambling on about that will not only keep you a regular visitor of my blog but entice your senses to give my Book, Synarchy a try.
Today as I’m going to provide a few author/book news updates and then drop right into another blog post on Atheism. As far as book news goes, we’re still ticking along. It can be frustrating at times, clicking on that link that shows sales and watching the number not move. But, persistence, determination and my nonstop work and learning process of marketing will prevail. Eventually you will buy Synarchy, and I’m certain you’ll love it. As far as book promotion goes, we have two reviews that will be incoming soon, I anticipate within the next month. We will be a guest on The Authors Show, the interview has already been taped, now I’m just watching the website and waiting for a scheduling slot. I will be pitching to more radio shows over this week so I’ll keep you posted.
If you haven’t been following us on our podcasting station well you should! I’m reading book chapters, and mixing in a few episodes related to the roleplay game. You can find us at http://dcs.podOmatic.com with new episodes recorded every Tuesday.
I will be starting a video blog within the month. I’m toying around with the subject matter, but it will follow the same vein as the blog. I might delve more into government conspiracy theories and mix in the grander spiritual picture with that. I’ll keep you posted on that as well.
Synarchy Book 2: The Ascension has a tentative release date for December 21st, 2009. You can expect to see a thicker novel, and of course the expansion of the metaphysical, government conspiracy theories, and shift in consciousness information that you saw in the first book. And of course some really great drama, laughs, tears and a lot of excitement.
I’ll admit, writing it has been slow moving. I find it very difficult to force myself to write, though thanks to the roleplaying game Synarchy 2012, I’m writing everyday, just not always that thing that’s going to get me out of the stinking hotel business.
The final author update is a very exciting one, at least for me. I will be attending the University of Metaphysics, the University System of the International Metaphysic Ministry and obtaining a doctoral degree in Metaphysical Science. In order to legally practice this, my doctoral degree is classified as a doctoral in a specialized area of religion so, upon successful course completion I will also be an ordained minister.. Minster, Doctor Storm if you please
. I’m insanely excited about this and can’t wait to get my hands on the course material especially as I delve into writing Book 2. It is very important to me that while weaving this highly entertaining fictious tale I also stick in there some truth, and things you can take with you long after the book is sitting on your book shelf collecting dust.
That’s enough with the not as interesting as a discussion on Atheism. Let’s move onto that.
Tuesday
As I write this, thunder serenades me. I freaking love storms. It’s a bit of a constipated storm though. Random noise, a little drizzle then it stops to decide what it wants to do next. Kinda amusing.
But that’s enough about the weather down here in Nawlins. Let’s talk about something more interesting.
I have just found out that if you are viewing this in Internet Explorer the sidebar is missing. If you click on the DCS, or other pages you see it, but on the home page, nada. This leads me to conclude that internet explorer sucks my hairy ass. My blog looks as it should in Firefox and Google Chrome but IE it no likey. Until I find a solution you’re better off ditching Explorer and hooking up a better browser like Firefox anyway.
Anywho, moving on.
Book Two. Book Two is my boggle. I’m not quite sure why. I even know the solution to my problem I just haven’t done it with any consistency yet; sit down and write it. Just, write it. For some reason, I’m trying to outline it in my head. I’ve got the general premise down, a few scene ideas, but that’s about it. This is stressing me out. Allowing it to write itself is well, boggling me. Book One wrote itself. Thinking back, I don’t believe I had anymore than a very small idea where I wanted the story to go and I’m pretty sure it ended up branching off into its own fabulous creation regardless.
I’ll jump this hurtle eventually, I’m just in the mood to bitch about it, because it’s both frustrating and annoying. I’ve had writers block before, what writer doesn’t at some point. But this is almost like writer stuck. I’ve written the first book, got a few fabulous reviews and now I’m psyching myself out. Without question, Book 2 will be an even better piece of mastery than Book one is. Once I, yah know, get around to expanding the fifty or so pages I’ve got right now.
As a side note, when I do start delving deeper into Book Two I’ll be making little blog posts where I share with you some of the crazy research that I delve into. You’ll find it quite fascinating and entertaining I’m sure.
However, regardless of my boggle, it is still good to be DCS.
Wonderful mystical, esoteric, new agy, whatever word works for you, changes continue to surround my life. Transformation continues at a breakneck pace. Satisfied? Yes. That I’m where I’m supposed to be, but still going somewhere. My ambition, I don’t think, will ever waver, and phooey if it does. Then what the hell would I do? There will always be something to create, but I’m so much more experienced at enjoying the now instead of just dealing with it while I wait for the future.
I had a fabulous weekend with my family. My love for my siblings, grandparents, aunts, a few Buonomos, and the Bolognas knows no limits. They are sorely missed, with all their strange quirks, and eccentrics, and this weekend was a great reminder of it.
It was also an interesting thing to be in New Jersey. I have come to the conclusion that it was wise for me to leave the energy there. I found it extremely difficult to contain negative thinking. I’m very conscious of my thoughts and where they go, and I found the negative ones in random moments creeping up with great force. It was quite a curious thing as I don’t have that problem at home. Not to say that I don’t still have the occasional battle with negative thinking. That’s just par for course. It was the frequency and strength of it while in The Suck as I call Jersey that had me scratching my head. Ah well, that’s just my observation. I’ll be back there not that this weekend, but the next to go a dear friends wedding.
Romance looms on the horizon. I find it interesting that while I’ve held in my mind’s eye that I would very much enjoy a partner now that the potential exists for me to explore that possibility I almost hesitate. The mind looms with questions about my space, my quiet time, the weight of commitments of spending time together and blah blah blah. Kinda makes me giggle as I realize how much fun I’ve been having with just myself. I’ll work through this as well, I simply must explore this potential, my spirit demands the wonderful energy of romance, it’s been a good while since I’ve had that. Whatever comes of this, I will simply enjoy it for whatever it is, or turns out to be. Balance in all things of course.
Let’s talk about Book One. I’m so excited that in the upcoming weeks I’m going to be joining forces with a marketing expert and putting together a media release campaign. I think it’s about time myself, and my work got the attention they deserve
And with the eclipses clearing out, and opening things, with consciousness expanding and eyes opening, it’s a ripe time for the knowledge plainly hidden in the entertaining words of Synarchy to be thrust in front of the public.
I will also be doing Book Reviews on TalkShowOnTheWeb. That’s an upcoming project. You’ll also get to hear an interview on The Authors Show in a few weeks. It’s all good news as I explore the waters of intent and creation. I’m telling you, this stuff works. But, don’t take my word for it. Try it yourself. It’s a perfect time.
Full Moon eclipse August 5th. Just an FYI. Nurture yourself this week. Love yourself especially well this week. Early to bed, late to rise. Take lots of time for meditation, and stillness and asserting what YOU want. It’s all about you, no trust me, it is. And that’s not selfish. It’s time for everyone to take responsibility for the creation of their own lives. Help em along by saying, “Newp. I’m married to me. Invites to the ceremony will follow shortly.”
A new podcast of the book chapter is up btw. If you’ve been following The Synarchy Series awesome, if you haven’t well, there’s no time like now. Hook it up. And gimmie some feedback on those would yah?
That’s all I have for you this blog post. I think it was enough. Until next time.
Namaste & Espavo
