Sunday
I’m going to venture a guess that the blinders are coming off. The illusion and the reality are starting to expose themselves and you probably aren’t very pleased with it. Here’s the good news. Hope? We’ve still got it. Change? Oh, it’s coming. But maybe now you realize that the change has to be real change, not the same old solutions colored under a different party. I know you think my ideas are a little flowery. That they can’t possibly have real world implications. Positive thinking isn’t going to stop wars, or people from attacking us, or pay your bills, or….yeah I get it, I promise.
So let’s talk about what we have to do to make this feasible. What do we need for real hope and change? We’ll start with politics. We need a leader, no, we need a partner, someone we trust to abide by a very important document. We need someone who will actually work for us. You may say such a person doesn’t exist. Or you may think its Sarah Palin, or Mick Romney, or Barrack Obama. I’m not here to tell you you’re wrong. I’m here to tell you I don’t think you have all the information needed to make your decision. The hope and change you were expecting started with a Revolution, one that is still going. A massive grassroots movement, inspired by the people, for the people and put together of the people to support a candidate that really did have our best interests at heart. I’m talking about Ron Paul. Crazy? No chance? Another conservative republican? No, no, and yes, in a sense.
I think you are ready to see the realities now. To dig a little under the surface, because the surface is all fucked up. We’ll start very basic. Your congressional leaders cannot possibly have your best interests at heart if you don’t pay the fee to keep them in office. If you were running for government and Exxon Mobile offered you x number of dollars towards sponsoring your campaign, Exxon is going to want something in return. You’ve basically just been paid to protect their interests, not the people whose votes you’re trying to win. If your government, who has the ability to print its own money, for some reason chooses not to, and instead lend themselves out to a private bank, then your government is no longer working for you. Your government now has a responsibility to that debtor, and that debtor can extract payment in any number of ways.
We the People cannot possibly compete with the size of that dollar sign. But we can cut out the middle man all together and get the Government back to working for us. Not regulating us, or spying on us, or illegally taxing us but working for us, the people it serves. It’s not far fetched, nor impossible. No more picking the lesser of two evils. It is our power and responsibility to ourselves, to our children and to the ones we love to stop the madness. But first, we need to find a candidate to put in office that we can truly count on to fight the good fight within while we support him, and keep a close eye on him, from the out. The only politician that I have heard saying something real is Ron Paul. Limited Government. Balance the budget by getting rid of the private bank holding the country in a choke hold, demand the gold back, which will protect the value of the dollar. Stop spending billions upon trillions of dollars policing the world, which will bring more money back home to help solve our problems. It’s not isolation, its non intervention. There is a huge difference. Stop fighting wars that are illegal because the United States Congress made no declaration of such. Advocate both personal freedom and responsibility. Get the government out of our education, our health care, our personal lives. I urge you to listen to him talk. I’m providing a few short videos that I think are perfect. Just listen. You have nothing to lose by learning something new today and really considering its implications.
It’s not going to get better over night, but he’s a great chance for a real start in the right direction. And while he’s doing that, we’ve got to do our part. Personal freedom comes with responsibility. We’ve given our freedom away because we thought we didn’t want that kind responsibility, or that we needed someone else to tell us what to do. It was too hard, people are crazy, cruel, competitive crooks. Everybody out for themselves. I say, blah. Hogwash. Crap. I’m not saying there aren’t bad, stupid, people in the world. I’m saying their existence is no excuse not to act in YOUR highest integrity, from your heart. I’m saying their existence doesn’t change the fact that there is Abundance, not limitation. I’m saying when you understand how creation and energy and your power really works, you look at the world with a bigger, more loving set of eyes. Call it Spiritual Evolution. Call it Spiritual Activism. Whatever you want to call it the point is there are lot of people out there doing it, right now. And they are making a difference. It’s time we all did our part and joined them. I want to call your attention to a group that is taking the beautiful truth of oneness right to the United Nations. Or will be, as soon as they get 50,000 signatures. As of this posting, they have 39,969 signatures. Pause. Check that number again. As of right now Thirty-Nine THOUSAND people think we ought to have a world Oneness Day. Maybe this idea, this movement, this shift in consciousness isn’t so crazy after all.
Small steps, small practical changes have huge implications in our lives. When we consider every child, no matter the country, OUR child, no child would go hungry. When we consider every human on the planet family, I don’t think we’d kill each other so frequently. Sure, there will still be that Uncle, or Aunt, or in law that you really wish didn’t show up to Christmas dinner. We don’t have to like everyone, merely accept that regardless of our personal preferences we are all in this TOGETHER and only TOGETHER will real hope and change come about.
So, small steps. Shop locally. Find Farmers Markets. Give out free hugs. Listen to your gut when it urges you to help someone, let someone else go in front of you in line, buy a stranger a cup of coffee, whatever it is, those small nice things your gut tells you to do that your mind tells you to ignore for a variety of reason, yeah those, just start doing them. Let your impulsive kindness jump out.
We will fix this. Our current discontent will only lead to change. We must direct that change. We must elect an official that will take his foot off our throats, so we can speak our truth and do OUR jobs. Then, we must DO our jobs. You must participate. You are crucial to this equation. And the beauty of it is you can participate in any small way, or large way, it doesn’t matter so long as it’s your way, coming from your heart. We don’t have to re-invent the wheel. There are practical, real applications to all the “flowery” stuff I’ve advocated. Humantiy’s Team has shown us a way. Integral Enlightment has shown us a way. Bruce Lipton and Caroline Myss have shown us a way. The Venus Project has shown us a way. Yes Magazine shows how we’re doing it right now, every day. There are countless books (such as mine), radio stations (Paranormal 101, Matrix Radio, Movement Radio, and sooo many others) that will point you in the direction of YOUR path.
I leave you with the words of Albert Einstein smart man that he was. “You cannot solve a problem from the consciousness that created it. You must learn to see the world anew.”
Take my hand. And lets get to it.

Sunday
Look, I’ve talked about this Swine Flu nonsense before. But yesterday for whatever reason President Obama decided he was going to declare a National Emergency over this b.s. I’m not going to delve into the many reasons that could be behind that. My goal for this post is to help you not be afraid, and to caution you against running out and getting either yourself or those wonderful children of yours vaccinated; because it’s a really bad fuckin idea.
First of all this Vaccine their advocating for Swine Flu, H1n1 was rushed through the FDA without proper clinical study. That’s just one. Number two, it contains: mercury, antifreeze, formaldehyde, and detergent among other things. No really, I’m not kidding, formaldehyde. Antifreeze. In your vaccine. Why the hell would you inject yourself with that????
Oh, and by the way, they don’t really work anyway. To quote from an article by Dr. Mercola, “Research published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine also confirms that despite an increase in vaccination coverage among the elderly from 15 percent in 1980 to 65 percent at present, there has been no decrease in deaths from influenza and pneumonia.” You can read the full article here:http://www.drmercola.net/2009/07/potential-dangers-of-swine-flu-vaccine.html
Ron Paul, a presidential candidate in the last election, a man of great character, and more importantly a physician has something to say about it, and it’s basically everybody chill. It’s not the hype they are making it out to be, I swear it’s really not. Additionally, he cautions against getting yourself vaccinated. You can read that for yourself here: http://politicolnews.com/ron-paul-expose-n1h1-hoax/
Now if you want to delve into the problems with the numbers released by the CDC, and the way the media is just feeding the panic there are a number of different sources you can visit to educate yourself. Seriously, please educate yourself, and with more sources than just FOX or CNN. They are entertainment business not truth spreading organizations. Let me repeat, they are entertainment business not truth spreading organizations. Venture outside those areas and you get a completely different picture of this bullshit “national emergency.” Here are some links for your education:
Medical Voices – a bunch of doctors trying to educate you on the outright dangers of getting a vaccine, and the media hype surrounding the swine flu. Trust me, it’s going to be okay.
Stop The Vax – a movement to educate people about vaccines
Dr. Mercola – another resource site to learn how to naturally fend off getting the flu, why H1N1 is bad for you, and information about how “deadly” then swine flu really isn’t.
Lastly, and this really ought to be a pretty serious smoking gun. If this was so frigging serious please explain why so many health care officials in NYC flat out refused to take the vaccine. NYC tried to mandate it, and healthcare professionals fought back, and won in court. You would think that if this was such a big deal, health care professionals would be the first in line. Not so. You can read about that here: http://wcbstv.com/breakingnewsalerts/mandatory.h1n1.vaccine.2.1252672.html
There, I”ve said my peace. I’ve got more important things to do like hammering out more pages for Book 2 and wondering why the Carolina Panthers suck this year. I know, I’m a little up in arms tonight, but just thinking about the fact that they’re giving this to children makes me so mad I’ma have to go meditate soon.
You go get educated, then you’ll feel better about this “national emergency.” Gimmie a frigging break.
Sunday
It’s time to stop falling for the same old crap.
Tonight, I did what I said I was going to do while in Memphis after having evac’d from hurricane Gustav (long live New Orleans, woot woot!) – I watched Obama’s acceptance speech. Then I watched McCain’s. Then I watched Ron Paul’s speech given at the Rally for the Republic.
I watched these videos like the debater Miss. Trotman, my old debate coach taught us to be. I sat here with my legal pad, twirling my pen, ready to flow (In policy debate the notes you take during the others side is speech is your flow). I sat down and did this one, because you should know your enemy and two because I believe Obama and McCain are both full of shit. And I was right.
I am so filled with wonder, and amusement because as I sat here trying ready to tear apart their speeches I didn’t have a lot to work with. Why? Because it was a bunch of fluff. Pretty words, and strong sentences meant to make you clap and cheer and go fuck yeah and get your juices flowing without saying anything.
I’m going to quote from portion of an article I submitted to Section 8 Magazine – “Barack Obama brings a message of unity and change, things that people desperately want right now. And it’s not just the fucked up economy that is collapsing, the ridiculous gas prices or the illegal war going on in Iraq. Obama’s popularity represents a shift in thinking across the globe. More than ever, people are realizing that the way we have been doing things doesn’t work. From governmental levels, to individual ones that encompass spirituality and a sense of self, we want change. We want to be united. A little bug is sitting in our ears, telling us that we are all one. Connected. But what some are failing to really grasp and grab onto as that splinter sits in their minds, is that the things they want made better will not be solved until we win the hardest battle we will ever fight – against ourselves. One man, taking an oath to lead a country is not the answer. You, are the answer. We, are the answer.
I don’t want to take anything away from the black community, I get that it’s a big deal for a black guy to have the potential to be president. But you have been sorely misinformed if you think Obama is really going to make this country better.”
The ridiculousness of both candidates becomes even more clear when you watch both speeches back to back (Go do it. You’ll see what I’m talking about). I will give credit where it is due – Obama is a slick, slick orator. The kind in my debate years I would love to go against in a policy round. He is charming and charismatic, and man can he give a speech. He doesn’t look like your normal politician so he can appeal to that sense of change we want. But he’s smart enough to pick a VP that does, so he can help sway those voters who want that familiar face in office. (Much like McCain was smart to pick the soccer mom so he can combat Obama’s argument that he doesn’t get it and that he is just like you.). But McCain is a good speaker too, not as good as Obama, but he’s good.
Obama’s talk of not slinging mud was also echoed by McCain. Both men gave props to the other. Both men were raised alone by their hard working mother and had other siblings and the blah blah story. Both men had grandfathers that served right around the Pearl Harbor incident. The beginning of their speeches made me think they were following a format. They both started off giving love to their wife and kids, provided a little bit of family background, gave props to the other candidate and ended with that firm, we are going to win statement. They both talked about bringing change to Washington, about clean coal, and nuclear power, renewable energy, solar and wind power, bringing jobs back home. They both talked about defending America, suggesting how Iran is a threat, pointing out the “differences” in the other opponent, and gave that emphasis about how they work for you, blah blah blah. Oh and they both threw the right names around, Clinton, Kennedy, Roosevelt, Regan, Lincoln. But I think Obama wins the bullshit award, because at the end of his speech he went so far as to draw comparisons from MLK (at this point I was in hysterics btw) since the night of the DNC just happened to be the anniversary of the, “I have a dream” speech. This is me, rolling my eyes. Obliviously not at MLK who was the real shit, at Obama who is the fake shit. McCain at the end of his speech told a war story. Again this is me, rolling my eyes. Not at his service, at the tactics. C’mon. You both promised something new, I’ve yet to see it.
It’s crap. Go on, go watch both back to back and tell me it’s not.
And when you’re done with that, I want to you to go watch Ron Paul’s speech. Go to YouTube and type in Rally for the Republic. Fine, just click here. In fact I’m begging you to take the time and just go watch it. Please. Why? Because I want you to really see choice, and difference and not crap. Here are real things that Ron Paul said, that you did not hear from the other two men.
Oh by the way, before we get into that just a quick FYI – 16.8 Million dollars of your money was spent, twice. On both Rep/Dem conventions.
Our Troops gave more money to Ron Paul than any other candidate. I.E. McCain and Obama. Hmm.
Now lets talk about what Ron Paul said that you didn’t hear from either other, “choice.”
• The Federal Government Should not be involved in Education.
• That a true Patriot would repel the Patriot Act, FISA, The Military Commission Act, and no National ID Card
• He called the Iraq war what it is, ILLEGAL. Only Congress can declare war. They did not.
• We have a duty to fight enemies foreign and domestic. And it’s the domestic ones that we should be fighting right now. The ones at home.
• We have less Freedom now then we did before 9/11.
• That we must abolish the Federal Reserve because it is illegal, and unconstitutional.
• He calls the war on drugs, what is, a failure, and bullshit. Hemp is a source of ethanol and should be used (go look it up before you shake your head, I’ll wait.).
• That the government should not regulate your healthcare and how dangerous prescription drugs are (he’s a doctor btw).
• He talked about how it is amazing how the war drum can beat and the propaganda machine can run. Iran spends 1% much money on national defense as we spend. They are not a threat. There are no nukes. Do not believe in the new boogey man.
• He says that self reliance and self respect are key. That we need a President who offers to do less, not more. That Government should do less, not more. He firmly advocates following the Constitution because it’s not hard, and it’s pretty clear. The way the founding fathers ran government and not policing the world is what we need to be doing. We should take care of ourselves and only be embarrassed by asking somebody else, oh says the government to take care of us because they know better than we do.
(Don’t be put off by this statement. Step up and take responsibility, that is the price of freedom. I’ll break it down like this; can you make a relationship work if you don’t? Can you make someone else happy if you can’t make yourself happy? Do you. Do you. It doesn’t mean stiff arm your neighbor and it doesn’t inspire less cooperation but your own self empowerment. Freedom is Uniting. Believe it.)
Oh, and Ron Paul calls for peaceful civil disobedience. And he talks about the consequences of that. For example the people in jail (Ed and Elanie Brown and Sherry Peel Jackson) for refusing to pay income taxes when there is no law that says you must (Don’t shake you head. Do you know about the two supreme court cases that define income? Have you ever actually SEEN the law? Go find it, go ahead. I’ll wait).
Now, all that that I wrote above that’s change. That’s freedom of choice. Why don’t Obama and McCain call the war in Iraq what it is? Illegal. Why doesn’t Obama, the advocate of change, Mr. for the people, say that he’s going to get rid of the Patriot Act? Of FISA? Why didn’t I ever hear him say its time to empower the individual. Or hear him quote from the constitution? Why doesn’t either candidate ever promise to follow it?
Why are you letting Obama and McCain dupe you that they are going to put more money in your pocket, when that paper bill is worthless? Where’s the gold to back it up?
When are we going to get down to the nitty, gritty real problems instead of prancing around on this rose covered bed of bullshit? When are we the people going to stand up and not only say enough, but open their eyes and really listen?
Do yourself a favor this election even though you don’t really pick the president (electoral College people) help spread the message. Vote for Nader, or Chuck Baldwin. But for god sakes, stop, stop, please, I’m begging you, stop falling for the same shit. Wake up. Use your brain. Step up and be ready to take responsibility for your life for real. Stop giving your power away. I will quote again from my article -
“When it comes to this world we now live in, Obama isn’t the answer. Neither is McCain. In terms of government getting back on track, Ron Paul was and is. But when it really comes down it, if your life is shit, YOU, that person in the mirror has always and will always have the sole power and control to change it, regardless of how fucked up the system we exist in is. Believe in God and trust me its no blasphemy when I say, that’s believing in you.”
It’s time.
