August 2010 New Orleans, LA – Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, a self-published gem that has largely flew under the radar, might not stay that way for long. When first released in 2008 it landed a finalist position in The Best Book Awards. Since then it has racked up numerous five star reviews, with one radio show host calling author DCS, “the next JK Rowling.”
The first novel in what DCS says will be a six part series, Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening is a complex thrill ride, hailed by critics as, “The Godfather meets Stargate.” It is a page turner, and a novel that crosses into multiple genres masterfully, As an added perk, fans of the book also have the option of interacting with characters from the Synarchy universe through a text-based roleplay game called Synarchy 2012.
Popular book reviewer, A Journey of Books, has said of author DCS, “There’s just something about the way that DCS writes that allows the eyes to flow over the page, lifting the story into the air. The descriptions and especially display of emotions were so vivid that one could really see the story.”
Now, Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, stands poised on the brink of even greater success by being named a finalist in The Great American Author competition, hosted by the popular author community Offthebookshelf.com. The prize is the kind of exposure few authors ever see; their book featured in a television commercial.
“I’m so excited about the possibilities,” says author DCS. “My goal with Synarchy wasn’t just to entertain but to spread a message. Synarchy is a great blend of fact and fiction.”
For any author, let alone a self-published one, it’s difficult to carve the way through the thousands of titles that are published every month. DCS is counting on fans to take the time to vote, and then spread the word.
To view details on the contest, visit Offthebookshelf.com. It’s free to register and to vote. Voting closes September 1st. As an added incentive, DCS is offering PDF copies of her second novel, Synarchy Book 2: The Ascension to anyone who votes for Book One. Visit her website for more details. Book 2: The Ascension has recently received a four star review and been called, “a truly fascinating, captivating novel.”

Saturday nights on Paranormal 101 are filled with all sorts of conversations. Humanity’s Team talked about the importance of Spiritual Activism and their push for a Oneness Day Petition. Christopher Penczak provided fascinating information on ancient spiritual traditions that are being revived today. More recently Jason Martell visited the 101 to talk about the Sumerian’s and the Anunnaki.
Jason Martell is the creator of Xfacts.com a very popular site among UFO enthusiasts, fans of Zecharia Sitchin and anyone else with a curiosity into the realms of these paranormal subjects.
“It was great to have Jason on the show. There are a lot of correlations between his research, and some of the subjects I touch upon in Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, such as the Anunnaki, the scientific evidence that points to the potential of a planet X, even the Igigi, the Anunnaki’s messengers, you’ll find in my book,” said Paranormal 101′s show host and science fiction thriller author, DCS.
Sumer was the earliest known civilization in the world and invented writing, the wheel, and mathematics. Even more impressive were their astronomical observations.. When researchers have further investigated how it was possible that the Sumerians came upon their knowledge, the Sumerian’s clearly state that they were taught by their Gods, beings that came from another planet called Nibirui.
For some of us, that’s difficult to swallow. But the climate around UFO’s and the possibility of alien intervention into ancient civilizations is not loosing ground, but gaining momentum. The Internet has provided a means for the information to circulate more widely, and more and more scientists and researchers are making their voices heard regarding these fantastical topics. Researchers like Martell and DCS have both provided different means for newcomers, intermediates and experts alike to find a place where they can get solid information.
“Dis-information on these subjects is a common problem,” says DCS. “But there are sites like Xfacts.com, like Paranormal 101, even within my fiction novel Synarchy, where people can find ways to begin their own research into the topics. The past is an important part of our future, you realize just how important when you find the correlations between Sumerian texts and things like the biblical story of the flood.”

I’m going to venture a guess that the blinders are coming off. The illusion and the reality are starting to expose themselves and you probably aren’t very pleased with it. Here’s the good news. Hope? We’ve still got it. Change? Oh, it’s coming. But maybe now you realize that the change has to be real change, not the same old solutions colored under a different party. I know you think my ideas are a little flowery. That they can’t possibly have real world implications. Positive thinking isn’t going to stop wars, or people from attacking us, or pay your bills, or….yeah I get it, I promise.
So let’s talk about what we have to do to make this feasible. What do we need for real hope and change? We’ll start with politics. We need a leader, no, we need a partner, someone we trust to abide by a very important document. We need someone who will actually work for us. You may say such a person doesn’t exist. Or you may think its Sarah Palin, or Mick Romney, or Barrack Obama. I’m not here to tell you you’re wrong. I’m here to tell you I don’t think you have all the information needed to make your decision. The hope and change you were expecting started with a Revolution, one that is still going. A massive grassroots movement, inspired by the people, for the people and put together of the people to support a candidate that really did have our best interests at heart. I’m talking about Ron Paul. Crazy? No chance? Another conservative republican? No, no, and yes, in a sense.
I think you are ready to see the realities now. To dig a little under the surface, because the surface is all fucked up. We’ll start very basic. Your congressional leaders cannot possibly have your best interests at heart if you don’t pay the fee to keep them in office. If you were running for government and Exxon Mobile offered you x number of dollars towards sponsoring your campaign, Exxon is going to want something in return. You’ve basically just been paid to protect their interests, not the people whose votes you’re trying to win. If your government, who has the ability to print its own money, for some reason chooses not to, and instead lend themselves out to a private bank, then your government is no longer working for you. Your government now has a responsibility to that debtor, and that debtor can extract payment in any number of ways.
We the People cannot possibly compete with the size of that dollar sign. But we can cut out the middle man all together and get the Government back to working for us. Not regulating us, or spying on us, or illegally taxing us but working for us, the people it serves. It’s not far fetched, nor impossible. No more picking the lesser of two evils. It is our power and responsibility to ourselves, to our children and to the ones we love to stop the madness. But first, we need to find a candidate to put in office that we can truly count on to fight the good fight within while we support him, and keep a close eye on him, from the out. The only politician that I have heard saying something real is Ron Paul. Limited Government. Balance the budget by getting rid of the private bank holding the country in a choke hold, demand the gold back, which will protect the value of the dollar. Stop spending billions upon trillions of dollars policing the world, which will bring more money back home to help solve our problems. It’s not isolation, its non intervention. There is a huge difference. Stop fighting wars that are illegal because the United States Congress made no declaration of such. Advocate both personal freedom and responsibility. Get the government out of our education, our health care, our personal lives. I urge you to listen to him talk. I’m providing a few short videos that I think are perfect. Just listen. You have nothing to lose by learning something new today and really considering its implications.
It’s not going to get better over night, but he’s a great chance for a real start in the right direction. And while he’s doing that, we’ve got to do our part. Personal freedom comes with responsibility. We’ve given our freedom away because we thought we didn’t want that kind responsibility, or that we needed someone else to tell us what to do. It was too hard, people are crazy, cruel, competitive crooks. Everybody out for themselves. I say, blah. Hogwash. Crap. I’m not saying there aren’t bad, stupid, people in the world. I’m saying their existence is no excuse not to act in YOUR highest integrity, from your heart. I’m saying their existence doesn’t change the fact that there is Abundance, not limitation. I’m saying when you understand how creation and energy and your power really works, you look at the world with a bigger, more loving set of eyes. Call it Spiritual Evolution. Call it Spiritual Activism. Whatever you want to call it the point is there are lot of people out there doing it, right now. And they are making a difference. It’s time we all did our part and joined them. I want to call your attention to a group that is taking the beautiful truth of oneness right to the United Nations. Or will be, as soon as they get 50,000 signatures. As of this posting, they have 39,969 signatures. Pause. Check that number again. As of right now Thirty-Nine THOUSAND people think we ought to have a world Oneness Day. Maybe this idea, this movement, this shift in consciousness isn’t so crazy after all.
Small steps, small practical changes have huge implications in our lives. When we consider every child, no matter the country, OUR child, no child would go hungry. When we consider every human on the planet family, I don’t think we’d kill each other so frequently. Sure, there will still be that Uncle, or Aunt, or in law that you really wish didn’t show up to Christmas dinner. We don’t have to like everyone, merely accept that regardless of our personal preferences we are all in this TOGETHER and only TOGETHER will real hope and change come about.
So, small steps. Shop locally. Find Farmers Markets. Give out free hugs. Listen to your gut when it urges you to help someone, let someone else go in front of you in line, buy a stranger a cup of coffee, whatever it is, those small nice things your gut tells you to do that your mind tells you to ignore for a variety of reason, yeah those, just start doing them. Let your impulsive kindness jump out.
We will fix this. Our current discontent will only lead to change. We must direct that change. We must elect an official that will take his foot off our throats, so we can speak our truth and do OUR jobs. Then, we must DO our jobs. You must participate. You are crucial to this equation. And the beauty of it is you can participate in any small way, or large way, it doesn’t matter so long as it’s your way, coming from your heart. We don’t have to re-invent the wheel. There are practical, real applications to all the “flowery” stuff I’ve advocated. Humantiy’s Team has shown us a way. Integral Enlightment has shown us a way. Bruce Lipton and Caroline Myss have shown us a way. The Venus Project has shown us a way. Yes Magazine shows how we’re doing it right now, every day. There are countless books (such as mine), radio stations (Paranormal 101, Matrix Radio, Movement Radio, and sooo many others) that will point you in the direction of YOUR path.
I leave you with the words of Albert Einstein smart man that he was. “You cannot solve a problem from the consciousness that created it. You must learn to see the world anew.”
Take my hand. And lets get to it.
Namaste

Following in the footsteps of the wildly successful Shaddai Bloodlines RPG, Synarchy 2012 gives role-players a chance to interact in real time with characters from the highly acclaimed science fiction thriller, Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening.
March, 2010 – Imagine just for a moment that you could interact with Deucalion from Dean Koontz’s Frankenstein. Sit down and chat with Hannibal Lector from Thomas Harris Silence of the Lambs. That you could challenge Bella for Edward’s attention in Twilight. Imagine that you could interact with Harry Potter, and the crew at Hogwarts, and have the opportunity to completely change the storyline of those novels simply by you being in it.
Welcome to Synarchy 2012.
Sci-fi thriller author DCS, has created a text based roleplay game that allows gamers to directly interact with characters from her highly acclaimed science fiction thriller, Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening. Synarchy 2012 takes gamers into the world of the Terenzio family, the main characters from the novel. Gamers can meet them, interact with them, plot against them, join them in their fight against the World Management Team, or anything else that sparks up their creativity in this all encompassing universe.
“The idea wasn’t originally mine,” admits DCS. “I’ve been a text based roleplayer for going on fourteen years now. I fondly remember the days on AOL (America Online) where the Arts and Entrainment member created chat rooms were full of roleplayers. I joined a game called Shaddai Bloodlines and that was based on the novel of the same name, a fantastic story. When I wrote my own book I thought, why not do that with Synarchy too?”
Shaddai Bloodlines, written by Antaoli Cross, went on for several years, and amassed a huge following before the game creator moved to other endeavors. He is currently an amazing photographer operating out of New Orleans. To view Cross’ work, visit his website at http://www.greycrossphotography.com/
Synarchy 2012 has a basic premise, but its success is largely dependent upon the activity, and creativity of its players. DCS has created a very flexible universe that co-creators (her term for the gamers) can change by their characters actions.
“For example, in the book we know that, Marcello Terenzio marries and has two children. In the game, it doesn’t have to go down that way. A character made by someone else could come in, hate Marcello and end up killing him, or his wife. Then the whole structure of the universe has shifted based on someone else’s creativity, and we as Game Masters now have to roll with that, and come up with more storylines to support those actions. It’s really exciting,” says DCS.
“Graphic based RPGs like WoW (World of Warcraft) are obviously popular, and they’re fun if you’re that kind of gamer but what I thought what if WoW allowed 4the gamers in their universe to really impact the storyline. What if a group came in that was strong enough to burn down Stormwind? How amazing would it be if you logged onto the server the next day and saw the whole city in ruins because of what one group did the night before? We don’t have any graphics, just our imagination but Synarchy 2012 gives gamers that power, while allowing them to interact with characters they’ve made attachments too from the novel,” DCS explained.
Synarchy 2012 takes characters into the world a few years after December 21st, 2012. The world sits on the brink of either Tyranny, or a radical spiritual awakening. An imposing force, The World Management Team, has forced the world’s nations to choose to come under its dictator like rule, attempt to stay in the area of neutrality to WMT policy, or openly fight against them. Characters are given a chance to dabble in both science fiction and fantasy as The Awakening, a worldwide spiritual event that occurred the night of December 21st, 2012, allowed some humans to remember past lives, and others to even develop physic powers such as ESP, or Telekinesis. Play is accomplished through chat room interaction with other characters and message board posts.
To learn more about Synarchy 2012 visit www.commandcenter.synarchy2012.com. There you can find game information, rules, FAQ’s, the message boards, and even a game trailer. For $7.99 readers who prefer to read their novels electronically can delve into this fascinating story that reviewers have called, “The Godfather meets Stargate.”
“I definitely felt it was time to expand how readers could get their hands on the novel,” said author DCS. “Amazon’s Kindle has had great success, and for those who prefer ebooks to hard copy now they can enjoy Synarchy too.”
Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening is the first in the series. Her second novel, Synarchy Book 2: The Ascension will be out in the spring of this year. It will be released as both a paper back and on Kindle as well. BCF Reviews called Synarchy, “Fast paced, never a page without some action – twists and drama galore carry the reader though this book like reading a hint of what is to come. This book requires your close attention, but it will grab it and keep it from the very first pages. It is absolutely impossible to put down!”
Synarchy, takes the reader into a world that is a blend of the metaphysical and governmental conspiracy, fact and fiction. It will make readers question everything they believe about their own reality. The story takes place six months before December 21st, 2012, a date that has stirred up much controversy. An organized crime family through their own quest to dominate the world, discovers who the real players are that control humanity, and just how thick those chains are. And that’s just the tip of the ice berg.

A brief update for everyone. If you’re currently trying to snag a copy of Synarchy you’ll see on Amazon’s page that it’s not available. No worries, I’m updating the back cover copy with a few fabulous reviews we’ve gotten. I anticipate this will only take about 7 – 10 days or so, so if you’re itching to get your hands on Synarchy Book 1, just be patient.
I have also lowered the list price. You will now be able to purchase a copy of Synarchy for only $9.99. How’s about that?
Lastly, if you’re an eBook kind of techno-savvy person you’ll be pleased to note that Synarchy will be available on Amazon’s Kindle as soon as they’re done approving file format and things like that. I anticipate that will only take a day or two, and again I’ll update everyone once it goes live.
When’s Book 2 coming out? Soon! By the spring you’ll have your rightfully greedy hands on it. My editor has told me, “Book 1 smacked up you upside the back of the head. Book 2, punches you in the gut.” I think that’s fitting and I’m so proud of it you just have no idea. I’m hella excited to get out to you all, but gotta follow procedures. You’ll love the finished product, trust me.
That’s all for now, I’ll be touching base soon. Don’t forget to check me out Saturday night on Paranormal 101 for our round table discussion!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Highly acclaimed author of Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, DCS hosts her own show, In The Mind of DCS Saturdays nights on Blog Talk Radio’s Paranormal 101
February 2010 – BlogTalkRadio is the largest and fastest growing social radio network on the internet, and it just got a new host. Author of Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, a novel fans have coined, “the Godfather meets Stargate”, DCS is hosting her own shown every Saturday night at 9pm CST.
Paranormal 101, created by musician and paranormal researcher Steve Orion was already a popular hit on the BTR network. After doing an interview with Steve, the two developed a quick friendship, and Steve began persuading DCS to host her own show.
“When he first asked me I was hesitant. I tend to have trouble coming up with topic matter for my blog, but only because I like to talk about things that I can relate too. I want my readers to feel a connection, not just skim over a list of information,” commented DCS. “But eventually I saw the opportunity, not only to promote my novel but to reach a wider audience of people. Steve has been a great mentor too, and is really hands on with the show which is extremely helpful.”
“I want to make our show one of the most popular on BTR,” Steve said. And they may well be on their way to doing just that. DCS debut show, Mysticism and Science featured seventy-eight live callers and has received 155 downloads, an impressive start.
In the Mind of DCS will cover a range of topics spanning from the metaphysical, to UFOlogy, ancient civilizations and their esoteric knowledge, government conspiracy Theories and more.
“Consistency and great topic matter will be the key,” says DCS. “Steve and I are pretty much on the same wave length in what we want to accomplish with the show. We want to be a light, we want to be a place where seekers on the path of spirituality, and awakening can get practical information to help them on their journey.”
Listeners are encouraged to participate in the discussion either by visiting the chat room during the show, or calling in live to talk to the hosts. To hear In the Mind of DCS visit http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theparanormal. It will air every Saturday night at 9 PM Central Standard time.
DCS’s novel Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening is available on Amazon and at the author’s website. DCS is available for interview and can be reached using the information below.

As most of us writers do, I have a subscription to a few writers’ magazines, and I’m always reading articles related to the craft in an effort to improve my writing from any angle. Typical story in the life of a writer. What I came across in my recent edition of The Writers Magazine (which is the shit btw) was an article by fellow author Randall Silvis entitled “Write to connect with readers.”
The article inspired a few mixed feelings, and since I know a little something about the topic matter I felt compelled to blog about. There is a lot of good advice for writers in Silvis’ article. In a nutshell he discusses how writers should tell a story from the heart. Our job as writers is to suck our readers in and keep them glued to those pages through whatever means of emotional manipulation we can muster. We must take our head out of it, and stop trying to lecture our readers through our fiction, or write droll, sententious monologues that might get analyzed in a literary class one day, but the reader can’t understand. Silvis’ point is for us writers to write from our heart with, to quote him directly, “as much sensitivity to life as you can muster.”
You should not as a reader have to put in any effort to understand a writer’s work, and I completely agree. But, there a few points Silvis makes that I completely disagree with him on, and to me is steeped in old world thinking. And as you should know by this point, I’m full steam ahead to the new world. In one paragraph he writes, “When was the last time you read something and thought gee I didn’t know that about the human condition….for any reader with a few books under his belt and access to the nightly news, there is little left in this world that can truly surprise us.”
For me, that is an incredibly sad statement and presents a problem I believe we as a whole are rectifying right now. How many times are we going to read the same old story? Sure a lot, sure we’ll keep buying the cheesy romance novels, the crime stories with that great detective and the evil serial killer that makes us tremble. We’ll read the horror stories about the goblins and the demons because we love a good scare. But I ask-is anybody bored yet? When we pick up those books, aren’t we secretly hoping there will be something new inside those pages? Something a little different? Something that does bring back that child like wonder and make us rethink the world?
New Moon sucked us in not only with its love story but with a slightly different twist on the age old vampire and werewolves tale. We stood in line for Harry Potter books because we’d never been in a world quite like that before. In Synarchy, I will pull back the veil on the world you think you live in and show it to you through new eyes. It will squeeze at your heart and pull an infinite variety of emotions out of you. And it will hurt your head. The whole time your brain will be actively engaged, working in close correlation with the emotions speeding through you, and when you turn the last page if you don’t say, “wow” or some variation thereof, I’ve failed to do my job.
The second paragraph in Silvis article that made me twitch stated, “The world is not the way we want it to be. That’s the dilemma we wake up to every morning. And once we become reconciled to the impossibility of making the world a little more like the way we think it should be, we lose the need to re-create the world through fiction.”
That’s probably the most depressing thing I’ve heard in a while and speaks to a much deeper problem, but I’ve rambled about that in enough blog posts. Let’s apply this to writing.
To say that fiction cannot engage both our minds and our hearts I think is bullshit. I think it’s boring. I think it leads to the same story being retold over, and over again. Sure, we’re lazy. Sure, you pick up a book and want to leave the real world behind for a while. Our fiction is a plug for the lacking we find in ourselves. A chance to be someone we think we can never be, to go have an adventure we think we can never have. But, in all the fantastic worlds we’ve visited shouldn’t the most memorable leave us with some clue as to how to draw the very magic that made us spend the money, stay up all night and turn the pages with some hint of how to bring that into our own lives?
If you put down Synarchy and you still don’t have a clue, I’ve failed. I will not just entertain, I will awaken. If I have not turned your abstract curiosity into a sudden tsunami for more, once again, I have failed. You will connect with the characters of your choosing, because I have thrust them into the world in the same state of forgetfulness that you find yourself in. The first book is a little bit of a workout, but the emotional payoff is there, Silvis and I can completely agree on that. If you don’t feel it, who cares if you thought it. If I can’t move both your heart and your mind, I’m another five dollar paperback novel, among the thousands just like me, telling the same old story with a new set of characters. This is not meant to diss those other writers, I love my cheesy romance novels just like most other women, but why shouldn’t we as writers strive to do more for you? Why shouldn’t we not only entertain you but make you think, so just maybe you realize that the magic in the world doesn’t stop with the last page of Synarchy. It continues on, with you.
We should never stop striving to change the world, to make it as we want it to be, magical creations, beautiful reflections of the love in our hearts. When our fiction no longer inspiries us to keep dreaming, intending and creating, what are we reading it for?
If you put down my novel, maybe have a small headache from the brain exercising, but suddenly believe in the possibility of practical magic, I’ve done my job. And first, I wrote for you with my heart. Then, I wrote with my head. Why settle for anything less.
